Roadworks

There are currently roadworks at Poringland on the main B1332, which mean that if you're visiting us from the North (Norwich) we recommend taking the A140 instead of the B1332 from the A47 ring road. Take the Hempnall road at the large Hempnall roundabout, and follow this road to Woodton, staying on the outskirts of the village - up "Short New Road", along "Church Road" then turning left on the main road heading towards Norwich. You'll then turn left into our drive, as shown by the large blue signs.

Cafe Reopening

We are delighted to announce that our café is formally reopening post lockdown on 8th July, and our new menu will be available very shortly.

On Monday 6th and 7th July we will be open for coffees, teas, cakes and sausage rolls, but this will be on our outside tables only.

From 8th July you will need to book if you'd like a table inside - please do this by calling 01508 333110 or emailing oldhallfm@gmail.com

Please be aware that we will need to take the name and telephone number for the person that books the table, in order that we can follow the guidelines for the Government's track and trace system.

Table service will be in operation for our tables on the patio and inside, BUT for the picnic tables on the grass please come to the side door of the café to place your order - we'll then call you when your food and drinks are ready to collect. Please then return your plates cups/glasses to the designated table as shown by our signage.

It is very exciting to be able to welcome you back but open arms and hugs will have to wait until the threat of Covid has passed. We do ask that you wash your hands before eating, and as well as our two outside bathrooms and one inside bathroom, we will have a dedicated hand wash station to facilitate this.

DISABLED ACCESS

Please note that if you require access for someone with a wheelchair, that we would recommend booking an inside or patio table in advance. Due to the ground being uneven in places by the picnic area, access via the shop will be best but it would be easier for everyone if we know this before your visit.

When visiting, please ensure that you are well in yourself, and do not visit if you have a temperature or are suffering from any of the symptoms associated with COVID 19.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Rebecca, Stuart and the fabulous OHF team.
